Plain English crontab

Describe a schedule in your own words. A 4.4M-parameter model writes the crontab line, right here on your device.

Loading the model (2.6 MB)…

Next runs, your time zone

No cron line for this

Either the request doesn't say clearly when to run, or standard cron can't express it. Try a clock time and days, like "9:30 on weekdays".

Seconds, "last day of the month", "every other week", one-off dates and conditions need a different tool or more than one crontab line.

The model was trained from scratch on a laptop CPU. It runs in plain JavaScript on your device, and nothing you type leaves the page.

On 975 held-out requests written by other LLMs, some with no usable schedule, it gets 92.9% right. On an earlier set of 631 it gets 94.5%, where the best small off-the-shelf model tried, gemma4:e2b, gets 74.2% at about 4 seconds per request.

Schedules follow standard Linux cron (Vixie/cronie). When both the day and weekday fields are set, the job runs on days that match either one.
